WRITTEN BY GRANDSON MARTIN My Gran: She was one in a million, and will be sorely missed! I remember one day bringing my RAF basketball team to her house to visit. Before we knew what was happening she’d whipped off to the kitchen and fed them all! She was known as “Gran” by so many servicemen. Not Martins Gran or Buzz's Gran , just Gran to all and all have received regrets and condolences from everyone, including my former bosses and sergeants . I will never forget my Gran watching Star Wars and not being able to say “Millennium Falcon”. She was my friend, confident and fellow conspirator. She was special in a way that I cannot put into words. She will be missed, but part of me is happy for her. She has moved on to a place, without pain ,and where the man she loves will join her once more. “Love ya Gran”
